The days are getting longer here in Tasmania, and that means more time for bigger gold adventures, with daylight savings just around the corner. The dryer weather means access to some of my best gold deposits which have been found in larger rivers in Tasmania.
Its time to dust off the packraft and load it up with all the necessary tools, camp gear and equipment for a couple of epic days in the bush. Joining me on this mission will be fellow adventurer Rob Parsons as we work our way upstream on a massive river in Tasmania.
We’ll be searching for new gold deposits and then on day two heading back to a gold deposit that has scored us ounces of gold from past adventures. The location is renowned for larger gold nuggets and we’ll be on the hunt for more while soaking up the incredible surrounds and beauty this river has to offer.
